Proxigas monitors the evolution of technical standardization affecting the gas sector, interfacing with the regulator, independent authorities, and technical entities in charge.
The Association is a founding member of the Italian Gas Committee and is represented there within the President’s Council and the Technical Coordination Committee.
Proxigas is also present in the governing bodies of UNI and APCE and participates in the technical standardization and normalization operations effectuated at the European level within the CEN/CENELEC/ETSI, Marcogaz and GERG groups.
The Association is also involved in analyzing the technical and operational aspects of new technological developments affecting natural gas.
